Legoland

Everyone is familiar with the major Florida attractions, Disney, Universal, and Sea World.  A relatively new one that is often overlooked is LEGOLAND.  While Legoland places its emphasis on four to twelve-year-old children there is plenty for the whole family to do.  Just viewing all the elaborate Lego models is worth the visit.  The atmosphere is laid back and many of the rides are grandparent friendly, even some of the roller coasters!   This is a great park for grandparents to bond with their grand and great grandchildren.  It is best to arrive early and to head straight to the back of the park and work forward to avoid the morning rush.  The Ford driving school is a big hit for the younger children. The water park is seasonal, so check the website, if this is of interest.  The amusement park is a full-day affair.  The water park is often included free for a following day visit.
